Description: Join us for an insightful discussion on the profound role yoga can play in supporting mental health. We will invite participants to explore how yoga’s subtle practices—such as breathwork, mantra, visualization, meditation, and mindfulness—can serve as effective tools in addressing mental illness and the grief that often accompanies the loss of mental faculties.
Through shared insights and personal experiences, we will delve into the inner, more subtle aspects of yoga that offer a unique approach to mental wellness. Targeted experiences will enable participants to feel the effects of these practices in their own systems. We will also consider some of the yoga philosophy explaining how these tools work and when to use them.
Whether you’re a yoga therapist, mental health professional, or simply curious about the intersection of yoga and mental health, this conversation will offer valuable perspectives on utilizing subtle yoga tools to enhance mental well-being and cope with grief.
